Black Trivalent Zinc Chromate Benefits

Zinc-Nickel plating offers 5 times the corrosion resistance of conventional zinc plating and up to 1,500 hours of Neutral Salt Spray test performance. Other benefits include excellent heat resistance and a good base before paint or powder coat treatments.

Black Trivalent Chromate is the top coat applied after Zinc-Nickel plating to provide added corrosion resistance and a black color to the part. Black chromate finishes are used in a variety of industries including automotive, military, oil and gas, and more.
